After adding the Custom Domain Name, we add the SSL Certificate:
Azure portal Website Settings > SSL Certificates > Upload Certificate > Upload We already have a purchased wildcard SSL certificate on a local drive in .pfx format, that is ready to upload.
Notifications show that Add Certificate has been successful and the certificate is showing on the SSL blade:
The next step is to bind the certificate to the custom domain > SSL bindings > Add binding
From the dropdowns, choose the Hostname & Certificate > Add Binding
Validate by connecting to the newly assigned https://techblog.alvarnet.com which should open the WordPress install process.
